Mission
The mission of The Reading Initiative of MD is to ensure that children in low income communities have access to books to build their own library, develop the skills needed to be confident readers, and increase their knowledge of the world around them through literacy and experiences.
Vision
The vision of the Reading Initiative of MD, Inc is to build confident readers, to ensure that students, especially early readers, are equipped with what's needed to succeed academically and socially.
